1. Distribution at Khuzdar (September 17, 19, 2022)
Under Flood Emergency Response 2022, district Khuzdar (most devastated district of Balochistan was selected. YDA got approval from concerned authorities for working in district Khuzdar. Assessment and enlisting of the beneficiaries was conducted during last week of August 2022. Some target villages were not approachable through vehicles therefore, joint distribution venues were decided in consultation with communities and tribal heads. This methodology saved time, costs, and minimized security risks as well.
The distributions were conducted for the residents of villages Gresha, Moola, Karakh, Ballu and Babli of district Khuzdar. Total 350 families were catered through provision of relief package consisting food, hygiene and kitchen kits.
2. Distribution at Nowshera(KPK) October 15, 2023
In a joint venture of Young Men Christian Association (YMCA), & Church of Pakistan Peshawar Diocese and Youth Development Association, Food and hygiene packages were distributed among 180 flood affected families of district Nowshera (KPK) Pakistan on 15 October 2022. The relief was distributed among 180 families. 114 families were Christian, 42 were Muslim and 24 were Hindu families of village Pir Sabaq and Agriculture Farm Nowshera.
