Investing in young women’s economic empowerment and skills development is one of the most urgent and effective means to drive progress on gender equality, poverty eradication, and inclusive economic growth. To increase access to decent employment and entrepreneurial opportunities Women empowerment is significant in the sustainable development of our society. We can never realize our full potential without engaging the 50% of our population i.e. women. Under this thematic area, YDA organizes vocational skill trainings and promotes enterprise development among women.

Women getting better livelihood and being more productive in the society improves the nutrition and education of the families. YDA has not only been striving for the sustainable development of women through skill building and self-employment but also enhance the livelihood opportunities for the women who are at a disadvantage position and have a limited exposure to technical skills and knowledge. They are further orientated on different social issues, pro women laws and importance of their role in the society to become productive citizens.
