Theme: DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality
YDA organized Global Women Day celebration which was attended by 200 women and young girls. Different groups presented skits related to the theme and importance of women rights. Together the women and girls celebrated their womanhood and enjoyed their freedom to express.
The speakers emphasized the role of women in modern world, encouraged women supporting women in bridging the gender gap in education and career. Families especially mothers and teachers were urged to build the confidence of girls by trusting their abilities & dreams. The girls with dreams become women with vision.
